Now that you've had a week to shake off the cobwebs and gather your thoughts, let's get to work. People will need to know who you were and where you came from. Your information is also required to complete legal documents and government forms.

Not very exciting but necessary. It's like a little family tree of basic information. Start with your contact details, then those of your parents and so on.

The following is a list of the type of information that will be requested from you for these purposes. Yes, the list seems long but it's all in your head, isn't it? It should be easy.

Current family situation

Date of current marriage

Current or most recent employer

Current or most recent occupation
